Getting Ready!

OK. I’m leaving on Monday, and although I’m very sad to be leaving Phil (and a little sad to be leaving the States on July 4), I’m getting terribly, terribly excited!!! I’ll be spending the weekend packing, running errands, and generally tying up loose ends. And biting my nails….. More on Monday!

P.S. It recently occurred to me that since I will be alone for the majority of my trip, I’ll end up with many pictures of Paris, but none with me in them. To remedy this, I’ve included a few sketches of how I imagine I will look sightseeing in Paris. Apologies if the scale is a little off.

    The brushstrokes, elegant; the color palette, divine. More Picaso than DaVinci, but a tour de force gallery.

    Speaking of Tours, will you be able to catch any of the Tour de France? I bet if you did, Phil would be sooooo envious.

    Aw, thanks, guys! I worked hard on these. Yuri - I'm saying "Bonjour, mes amis!" For some reason I couldn't get that any bigger, so we'll just say no one could hear me because I'm so far away....
